Jayda’s 2 month injections! :(
So today Jayda had her 2 month injections :( poor babygirl screamed more than anything, and offcourse i cried as well. Its so horrible watching your child go through pain, and even worse knowing your causing it. However its better for her in the long run. Now the poor bub is restless, overtired, and unsettled :( Hopefully she starts to feel better soon!

Jayda 2 Months Old 23/2/2011-23/3/2011
Jayda is 2 months old today, she now weighs a wopping 5.5kg and is now fitting into 000 outfits. She is 57cm long so a very long bubby. She drinks on average 5 bottles a day at 120mls. However when she wakes up after her 8 hour sleep at night she has a bottle of 180mls and usually sleeps again after that for 2-3 hours. We have started a routine with her, however it isnt a set routine as well babies are unpredictable. However she has a bath with Jhonsans bedtime bath soap and then is dressed in her Pjs, fed and cuddled. This varies though as sometimes she wishes to stay awake longer. She drinks S26 formula which averages at $22 per tin. Jayda started smiling at 5 weeks and now smiles soo much! She loves being played with and is awake a lot more now. She notices me when i walk around the room. She also loves loves music, if you put it on when she cries she instantly stops! She also loves car rides and walks in her pram, she likes the movement and noise. Her hair has grown longer and is starting to get lighter. She has big blue eyes that get bluer everyday. Her pooey nappies are becoming bigger and smellier lol she also is in a bigger nappy. No longer in the newborns she is now in the infants. We only use huggie nappies as i find them better. We did try baby love however i noticed they leaked alot. Jayda loves loves her dad, she is full of smiles as soon as he finishes work and loves just sitting with him. Jayda never used to like tummy time but ive noticed now she seems to love it as she is kicking her legs now and loves holding her body up. I usually put a little pillow underneath her to help her feel a bit more comfy. She loves colours on the tv. She does not very often take a dummy. She prefers no dummy although at night she seems to take it more which helps as it distracts her from crying. She doesnt get wrapped up how many people suggests, she hates it and i mean hates it she will not stop screaming unless she is unwrapped so we do not wrap her up. Im not sure what else to update on but thats how she is going at the moment. She is getting more gorgeous everyday and me and her dad are so very proud of her :)

The first month, boi oh boi was it fun :) hehe she has grown so quickly its crazy! In the first month she was wearig 0000 and was tinnier than ever. I noticed that Jayda in her first month slept ALOT and i mean ALOT! i didnt have any problems with her sleeping, she hardly ever cried she was/is such a happy good baby! By around 3 weeks she was sleeping full nights from about 11.30pm until about 8.30am having a feed and then sleeping again until around 10am. She loved being held on my chest with a soft patting on her bottom to relax her. Jayda is a very spewy baby so she went through so many in her first month! She loves loves her baths. By 4 weeks old she weighed around 4.5 kg hehe. I dont really no what else to say as she is now 2 months so i can update on her better now! :)
My Granny Passing Away!
Something that really was difficult for me throughout my pregnancy and my birth was the ongoing battle my grandma was having with cancer. Unfortunately she had tumours all throughout her body that was slowly killing her. Jayda really was a race against time, while i was giving birth my grandma was having her lungs pumped at another hospital. Fluid had gathered around her lungs making it hard for her to breathe, we didn’t think she would be leaving. Her strong will to live got her through and she came home just after Jayda was born. Because i live 2 hours away from where my grandma lives we decided to leave as soon as i left hospital. It was hard for me, i had just been cut open and now had to go for a 2 hour drive, but it was worth it. My grandma was the proudest great granny in the entire world. Her smile was so bright and she just could not let go of Jayda. She fell inlove and i fell inlove with the gorgeous smile my grandma displayed. After we left My Grandma died 5 days after. She held on just to meet her great grandaughter. That day was the most amazing day of my life, nothing will replace the love that was felt that day from the entire familY!.
RIP ANNE MARIE, My grandma my daughters great grandma one of my best friends. you will forever remain n my heart xoxo
